I meant to mention this earlier

On a leisurely Sunday morning, whilst sipping my coffee and perusing Parade magazine–yes, yes I do peruse Parade, I know not why*–I came across the above-linked article entitled “Suitcase Nukes: Could It Happen Here?” by the lovely-named Lyric Wallwork Winik (well, first name anyway). I figured it’d be some right-wing propaganda, but, BUT, the nuclear expert she quotes was, get this, Joe Cirincione, from the Center for American Progress. I was shocked I tell you, shocked. Really.

*For xmas my mother gave me a subscription for Reader’s Digest. I don’t even take it out of the plastic mailing sleeve, I just toss it into the reading material basket in my bathroom.
